About the event

Attention VA Researchers,

Dr. Jinze Liu (Director, Bioinformatics Core Facility, Massey Cancer Center) has graciously agreed to provide an overview of the services provided by the VCU Bioinformatics Core facility. Following the presentation, Dr. Liu will be available to answer any questions you have regarding the services provided and use of the facility.

Dr. Liu’s presentation is scheduled for Wednesday November 15th from 1pm – 2pm and will be held in the third floor Research Service Conference room 3C-107.  (Please note the room change.) I hope you can attend in person; however, a virtual option will also be available.  Light refreshments will be provide courtesy of RIVR (Richmond Institute for VA Research

The mission of the Bioinformatics Core facility is to provide comprehensive, high-quality and cost-efficient bioinformatics service infrastructure to support researchers in basic science and translational science research. To meet this mission the Core supports the analysis of high-throughput multi-omics data with state-of-the-art bioinformatics algorithms and pipelines, facilitates access and mining of public datasets, supports grant applications and provides consultation and training to principle investigators and trainees.
