Microscopes and Image Analysis Software Programs

This seminar will be presented by Dr. Tytus Bernas, Director of the VCU Microscopy and Imaging Core Facility.  He will provide information regarding the microscopes and image analysis software programs that are available to all VA investigators.  In addition to the availability of the microscopes, Dr. Bernas will also introduce the technical expertise that is available through the Core. The Core is staffed by 2 full time and 1 part time microscopy technicians, who combined have nearly 100 years of tissue preparation, image collection and morphometric analysis experience.   This will be an outstanding opportunity for VA researchers to be introduced to the variety of image collection and analysis services that are available to enhance their research endeavors.
